Australian DJ and producer Hamish Prasad, better known as Marauda (and formerly as Mastadon; no relation to the metal band or social media platform), has become an indispensable force in the dubstep scene over the last several years, and a seminal figure in the bass music sub-genres of tearout, deathstep, trench, and melodic dubstep. Boasting heavy metal inspired aesthetics and a hard-hitting yet accessible sound, the breakout performer harbors both electronic music bona fides and crossover appeal for those less versed in the scene. On the heels of a string of buzzy new singles, Marauda brings his acclaimed live show to Nashville’s own Eastside Bowl on March 24, for a run dubbed the Rage Room Tour, along with Orlando-based fellow rising dubstep star Rated R, and likeminded local electronic artists Finderz Keeperz and Vexus!
Tickets are still available right here while they last, but we’re excited to announce that we’re also giving away a pair of tickets to a couple of lucky fans! Preview the entire lineup and enter for a chance to win below.
