Deliberately enigmatic in a way that lets their art speak for itself, Los Angeles duo Emotional Oranges claim to have met at a bat mitzvah in 2017, and go by A, who worked as an audio engineer for Drake, and V, who worked as a vocal coach for Adele. Immediately lauded by critics and fans alike for their stylish r&b and pop sound, which is as indebted to ’90s artists like Lauryn Hill as it contemporary and forward-thinking artists like The Weeknd, the guy/girl group inked a major label deal and began to play shows all over the world on the heels of their critically-acclaimed debut project, The Juice: Vol. 1, in 2019, and have since released two more volumes and, in between II and III, another record called The Juicebox, featuring a host of exciting collars with the likes of Vince Staples and Becky G.
As they’ve only been in the public eye for a few years (and a good portion of that has been amidst a pandemic), Emotional Oranges have been on a few small headlining tour runs, and have not yet made it to Music City. That all changes March 5, however, when the duo play their first Nashville show at Eastside Bowl, with support from Ayanna! Tickets are still available right here, but we’re excited to announce that we’re also giving away a pair of tickets to one lucky fan! Preview the lineup and enter to win below.
