Ahead of the April 28 No Sleep Records release of their sophomore LP In Case You Missed It, and the May 5 show at The End they recently announced in celebration, emotionally-charged local alt rock outfit Daisyhead have premiered a new music video for their latest track, “Common Ground.” Following first single “Don’t Feel Bad,” which also got video treatment, “Common Ground” is more introspective and layered, a sonic gut-punch of anxiety and self-doubt that perfectly encapsulates frontman Michael Roe’s ability to tap into raw emotion; at once painful and cathartic. Shot partially in the style of home movies, the video does a great job of tapping into the song’s nostalgic and personal feel, and leaves us counting down the days until we can hear the rest of what is fast becoming one of our most-anticipated local records of the year.
