Collaborative workspace, art hub, and idea/eduction facility Fort Houston regularly hosts art crawl events, showcasing talented local artists and musicians at their Wedgewood-Houston home base. You can always count on some high quality, all ages fun, but the event this Saturday, Aug. 6 especially caught our eye, since it includes FREE performances from Diarrhea Planet and Gnarwhal. Tunes from two of Nashville’s finest acts is more than enough reason to attend, but with art from Harry Kagan, Ian Bush, and kkbbkb, for a series dubbed “Meal and a Coke,” the PBR and Acme Radio sponsored night will truly be a showcase of what makes Nashville’s art scene so special, and should undoubtedly be a weekend highlight. The fun kicks off at 6 p.m., and you can find more info here.
