Summer’s coming to a close, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t a few tricks left up its sleeve. One such trick is the upcoming release of Bahamas’ third studio album, Bahamas Is Afie, which will hit shelves tomorrow, August 19. However, fans of the Canadian indie rock act can whet their appetite with a very personal and touching new video from the man himself, Afie Jurvanen, in which the musician plays his newest album for his best friend while shopping for groceries for the friend’s restaurant. Take it from us: it’s a very personal, moving video, and it really sets the standards high for the album. You can also hear the single from the upcoming album, “Little Record Girl,” which was recently released via CMT. We’ve got both the video and the song streaming after the break, so if you’re into the warm, comforting sounds of Bahamas (and really, who wouldn’t be), check it out. We’ll keep you up to date with the record release next week, and also be sure to keep you in the loop when Bahamas comes to perform the new record at The High Watt on September 22 (tickets here). Until then, happy listening!
