Catch Blinds, Fauna Halo, Aave, & Lust and the Black Cat | Saturday, Sep. 26 @ fooBAR

Nashville based Blinds just released their first EP, a droning, self-titled collection of seven songs, which are at the same time dark, moody, ethereal, and charming. They may have only been playing together for a short time, but the band sound like they’ve been at it for years. They’ll be joined at fooBAR by fellow Nashville acts Fauna Halo, Aave, and Lust and the Black Cat this Saturday, Sept. 26. The show starts at 9 p.m., is 21+, and will cost you $5 at the door.

Review by Jacqui Sahagian

As per usual The East Room put on a wacky and wonderful event Saturday night with some help from the Hong Meow art collective and four very different bands. Next, sexy blues trio French Lips gave the crowd a new female singer to simultaneously be in love with and afraid of over wicked slide guitar. The Trinity Schill Kill got people dancing before the headliner, baroque pop singer-songwriter Fauna Halø, kicked off her summer tour with a set of confessional piano ballads.
