Tonight‘s show at The Basement is an opportunity to see a variety of musicians from all over North America. Whitehorse, Walking Man, Miles Nielsen and Jadea Kelly will all be performing on the popular Nashville stage for eager listeners, and we’re hoping you’ll be part of it (we know we’re excited to see it). Nashville natives Walking Man will be joined by straight-out-of-Canada Whitehorse and Jadea Kelly. Rounding out the group of talented musicians is Illinois artist Miles Nielsen. Don’t miss your chance to get a taste of musical talent from all over the North American continent, and for just $5? This is the best bargain so far this year.
Tennessee’s all star musical collective Ten Out of Tenn are already gearing up for a 10 year anniversary concert April 24 at the Ryman, but, since this is a big year for everyone involved, they’ve decided to go all out. On March 17, Ten Out of Tenn will release Ten Out of Tenn: 10 Years, a celebratory album with twenty songs showcasing the talent of all of those artists who have been part of the group.
The album will feature songs from both current and past members, and will serve as an opening to a year of celebration and excitement. After ten years, Ten Out of Tenn are still paving the way for young artists, and proudly continue on in their mission to be different from many other artist collectives emerging from Music City. It’s just a little over a week and a half before the album drops, and we strongly suggest that you check it out before attending the anniversary show in April. Music City is known for the amount of musicians that emerge from its various nooks and crannies, but this city is also known for welcoming talented artists from beyond state lines. Tonight at a beloved local venue, The Basement, Nashville will be celebrating the creativity of Houston, Texas groups The Tontons and Wild Moccasins. If you’re eager to dance, hear some great music, and experience a show with some people who know how to have fun, this is the place to be.
When you’re the headliner for a show, that’s a pretty big deal; but when you’re the only one on the bill for the night, that’s a really big deal. Nora Jane Struthers & The Party Line are the only ones up to play tonight at The High Watt, but they’re guaranteed to make the show worth every single penny. Having just released their latest album Wake only yesterday, this group is eager to showcase some of the latest songs they’ve worked so hard on.
