@ The Grand Ole Opry | 7pm | $29.50-$69.50 | all ages

We caught Lane at Exit/In recently and she puts on a hell of a show with music and a presence that feels simultaneous authentic to the roots of real country music and fresh. She’ll probably have to tone down her banter a bit for the all-ages audience at the Opry, but playing there is likely fulfilling a lifelong dream for the singer-songwriter. [JSa]

Matt Mahaffey’s project sELF seems to build more and more steam every week. We last caught them deep into Marathon Village’s Blocktoberfest party, commanding a massive crowd with clever and left-field pop tunes. We’re curious to hear what’s at the core of the tracks when Mahaffey strips them down in this solo performance at Grimey’s. [WD]
